Cambodian farmers protesting land grabbing in front of
the National Assembly
STATEMENTS By KFA PRESIDENT Farmers who make up 80% of
Cambodia's population are plunged in dire poverty and suffer from many
abuses, especially land grabbing by a few rich and powerful people. We
want to fight for land reform and good governance associated with
democracy in order to ensure justice for farmers, promote economic
development based on a modern and effective agriculture, and preserve the
environment and the future of our country.
